Patsy Cline was an American country singer and was born on September 8, 1932, in Winchester, Virginia. She began singing in her church choir at a young age and later pursued a career in music. She became one of the most successful country singers of the 1950s and 1960s, with hits like "Walkin' After Midnight," "Crazy," and "Sweet Dreams." Cline was known for her powerful and emotionally charged vocals, and her ability to cross over into other genres such as pop and rock. She tragically died in a plane crash on March 5, 1963, at the age of 30. Despite her short career, she remains a major influence on country music and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
